Millet's market share increased by 43.3%, ranking second in the quarter, with sales reaching 7.5 million units. Huawei has grown by a staggering 248.5% to 5.7 million units, and is expected to take third place. The company didn't even make the top five a year ago.
IDC pointed out that millet is still strong in its country of origin, China, and its recent investment in Europe and other Asian countries has also paid off, consolidating Millet's competitiveness.
